FACTORY ROLES
Our roofs are manufactured in our Accra factory for new Commercial and Residential buildings and restoration projects, providing for all styles of architectural designs. Our range of metal long span roofing profiles are one of the most comprehensive in Ghana.
Here at BIG BOND, we are looking for a number of Production Operatives and Managers to join us. From Qualified, Experienced Production Managers, specializing in Roofing and Trusses manufacturing and accessories, Hydraulics Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Quality Control personnel, Forklift Operators and Drivers, Factory Machine Operatives and Factory Hands. The factory roles at BIG BOND cover a very wide spectrum of skills, qualifications and experience.
Due to the wide spectrum of skills used in the factory, formal education or qualifications may or may not be essential depending on your role within the factory. Where qualifications are not required, we ask that you have received some training from a competent operator which included some close supervision, and competency review was completed on all duties.
Whether qualifications or not, to be able to work successfully in our factory, you must be a results driven individual with a can-do attitude, you will have a passion for delivering high quality standards and have a good standard of literacy, numeracy. IT skills will be useful. You will thrive on working to tight deadlines with the ability to work effectively under pressure and flexible to work outside of working hours during peak seasons. It is essential you have initiative, strong problem solving skills and you are naturally inquisitive, hard-working, and good teamwork skills.
All the above are required for leadership and specialized roles that require qualifications and extensive experience of leading a team within a manufacturing environment and at least 2 years manufacturing experience working in the roofing and accessories, manufacturing environment and exposure of working with machines and equipment, to ensure all orders are on time, in full, at cost, at the right quality first time and by the most efficient utilization of the resources available with minimum wastage ever and a commitment to ensure order fulfillment – on time – every time! It is worth nothing that BIG BOND factory roles are active roles which require some heavy lifting.
As a BIG BOND Production staff, you will play an active part in the manufacturing process to ensure all products manufactured, processed and dispatched are of best quality, rejecting unsuitable products where required. You will also ensure minimum downtime to ensure all roofs and accessories are delivered to their designated area in their correct position, achieving both the process and customer requirements.
